Dorthi´s success stems from her passion and devotion to the hair and beauty industry. Her passion was evident in a junior high career essay contest. Dorthia's writing won her the opportunity to get a Job for a Day at a hair salon. Ever since, she was determined to bring her creativity to realization. Dorthi has been licensed for more than 7 years, in that time she has mastered a wide range of hair techniques including color, cutting, wedding and editorial hairstyling.

Dorthi uses a wide range of Redken and Wella color products, including the new revolutionary hair color system Chromatics. She believes in continual education and strives to stay at the forefront of her field with her knowledge of new products and services available in order to provide excellent service to her clientele. Dorthi places a high value on listening to her clients, understanding their needs and respecting their hair... and she strives for unlimited creativity! In her spare time, she works for numerous photographers and Chicago's top models as an editorial hairstylist.
